From Starting Over to Helping Families Build Forward

I was born and raised in Gayaza, Kampala, Uganda, and in 2024, my family and I made the life-changing decision to immigrate to Canada.

Starting over in a new country was exciting, but it also came with uncertainty. I was stepping into a completely new environment, trying to find my place, build a future, and answer an important question:

“What do I truly want to build with my life?”

Like many newcomers, I had dreams, skills, and a willingness to work hard—but I was still searching for the right direction.

Then, I met a mentor who introduced me to the financial services industry.

At first, I saw it simply as an opportunity to learn something new. But as I began learning about financial planning, protection, and the different ways families can prepare for the future, something changed.

I realized that this wasn’t just about numbers, policies, or financial products.

It was about people.

It was about the parent who wants to make sure their children are protected.

It was about the young professional who wants to build a strong financial foundation.

It was about the family trying to understand their options and make confident decisions about their future.

And it was about having someone who could sit down with them, listen to their story, explain their options clearly, and help them take the next step.

That resonated deeply with me.

As the firstborn of three siblings, I grew up with a strong sense of responsibility, service, and care for others. I learned early that sometimes leadership simply means being there for the people who are counting on you.

Today, I bring that same mindset into my work.

My background in Information Technology, along with my growing focus on Data Science and Analytics, has taught me to think critically, analyze information, solve problems, and pay attention to the details. But financial services has given me the opportunity to combine those skills with something even more meaningful to me:

serving people.

My approach is simple: listen first, educate clearly, and help people make informed decisions that align with their goals and circumstances.

My goal is to serve as many individuals and families as I can with a genuine, caring heart—and to make every conversation valuable.
